Parish News/Events

Thank you for supporting our Hymnal Project!

Thank you again to all who contributed towards our New Hymnal Project. With your generous donations, we were able to purchase just over 400 hymnals for our pews. We want to thank those that assisted us with removing our old hymnals after Mass on Thursday July 3rd. We also would like to thank our Altar Guild and Altar Florals volunteers for helping us clean our pew book shelves and for placing our new hymnals in our pews. As you enjoy our new hymnals, we also invite you to pray for the names of our generous donors and deceased loved ones printed in these books.

Thank you, Choirs!

As our Youth Choir and Adult Choir take a break for the summer, we want to thank them for sharing their beautiful gift of music with our community. A special thank you to Claudia Ferro and Ana Maria Nunes for leading these two choirs. We look forward to hearing your angelic voices in the Fall!

Thank you from Monsignor Shiels

Monsignor Joseph Shiels wishes to express his sincere thank you to all persons involved in the preparation of the Diamond Jubilee (60 years) of Priesthood. Thank you for the music ministry, the ushers, the welcome people, the reader, and servers. Also my thanks to Msgr. Vid Vlasic for this Homily and our deacons and priest friends who concelebrated. Of course very happy to see parishioners of St. Ignatius and friends from other parishes. A gracious thanks for all who prepared the Hall reception and the Longo family and their delicious food. It was a wonderful day and many happy memories for all members of this wonderful Church community. Please pray for more vocations to religious life and priesthood.

Society of St. Vincent de Paul Needs Your Help

We support 137 school age children who will be returning to school this September.  They will need school supplies, clothing, etc.  Your donation or a $25 Walmart gift card would be a “hand up” and really put a smile on a child’s face.

Help us to help them get a fresh start! Please use the designated envelope and place it in the weekend collection basket or in the SSVP donation box, prior to August 1, 2025.  Many thanks to those who have already made a contribution.  Donations received as of the end of June will assist 112 out of 137 needy children.  Donations over $20 are eligible for a SSVP tax receipt.  Your support is greatly appreciated.

You’re there for seniors in their time of need

Your support of ShareLife-funded agencies, like the Cardinal Ambrozic Houses of Providence, gives seniors, like John, a sense of belonging. As one of many valued residents who live with dementia, his cognitive impairment can leave him feeling vulnerable and confused. Your compassion makes it possible for him to be surrounded by both his family and caregivers in a comforting environment. John’s son has fondly witnessed gestures that go above and beyond for his father, ensuring he’s never left embarrassed. This is a testament to the dignity and life-affirming respect you help provide.

Thus far we have raised $158,174.23 toward our goal of $274,500.00. Please give at the parish using a ShareLife envelope, online through our parish website, or at sharelife.org/donate.
