Fr. Alex D'Silva - Associate Pastor

Fr. Alex was born in Mumbai, India. He was married and has a daughter, but was widowed in 2006. After his wife passed away he felt a call to the priesthood, but had to wait till his daughter completed her studies and was independent. When things fell into place he left behind his career in the financial sector and joined St. Augustine’s Seminary, Toronto. Fr. Alex is a CPA (USA) and has a M.Div. (U of Toronto), MBA (U of Hull, UK) and M.Com. (U of Mumbai, India). Fr. Alex was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Toronto in May 2022 and appointed as Associate Pastor at St. Ignatius of Loyola Church, Mississauga. He hopes he can bring his life experiences as he serves his ministry at the parish.
