Prepare Your Hearts for Lent
Lent is almost upon us, a sacred season of grace and renewal. As we prepare to begin this 40-day journey, the Church invites us to reflect on the Three Pillars of Lenten Practice: Prayer, Fasting, and Almsgiving.
Prayer
How can you deepen your relationship with the Lord?
Fasting
What can you let go of to make more room for God?
Almsgiving
How can you serve those in need?
May this season of Lent be a time of spiritual growth and renewal as we journey together toward Easter.

Our heartfelt thank you to you, the parishioners who supported the CWL fundraising efforts last year. Pappin Memorial Bursary Fund, Catholic Missions in Canada, Chalice Canada, Development in Peace, , Hope for Children Foundation, Rosary Apostolate, St. Michaels College, Sisters of Life, Vita Centre – Mississauga and our Society of St. Vincent de Paul here at St. Ignatius Loyola. Without your support none of this would have been possible. Thank you!

Online donors will receive their receipts directly from Canada Helps or the National Council of Canada donation portal. Thank you to all donors for your support.

Tax receipts for 2025 will be mailed out to your address by the first week of March. If you do not receive the tax receipts by the middle/end of March, please contact the parish office.
Donations received from January 1, 2026 up until December 29, 2026, will be reflected in your 2026 tax receipt. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
The Parking Foundation
Rose Bilak, a parishioner of St. Ignatius of Loyola Church, has founded The Parking Foundation, inspired by her own experience and guided by faith, to support families whose children are undergoing cancer treatment by helping ease the burden of hospital parking costs.
The Parking Foundation is currently supporting 100 Mississauga families through Ontario Parents Advocating for Children with Cancer (OPACC) whose children receive care at Credit Valley Hospital and SickKids Hospital and is in the process of expanding support to an additional 200 Mississauga families receiving care at Credit Valley Hospital.
Rose invites the parish community to consider offering donations and professional gifts of service, including legal, accounting, fundraising, and operational support, to help this outreach continue.
For more information, please contact Rose Bilak at rose@theparkingfoundation.org, 416-889-7673, or visit www.theparkingfoundation.org.
With gratitude for your prayers and support. God bless.
Totus Tuus is Coming Back This Summer!
Get excited! Totus Tuus will be returning to our parish this summer, and we can’t wait to welcome our missionaries and campers for another incredible week of faith, fun, and friendship.
Evening Program (Grades 7–12): July 19–23, Day Program (Grades 1–6): July 20–24
Registration will open in March, so keep an eye on the bulletin and parish website for more details coming soon. You won’t want to miss it!
Be Part of Totus Tuus 2026 – Volunteers Needed!
We need your help to make it an unforgettable week for our parish youth! From July 19–23 (Evening Program, Grades 7–12) and July 20–24 (Day Program, Grades 1–6), our parish will be filled with faith, fun, laughter, and learning — and we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join the mission!
We are seeking volunteers for both the day and evening programs. Whether you love working with children, supporting teens, organizing behind the scenes, or simply want to serve the Church in a meaningful way, this is a beautiful opportunity to get involved.
This is especially great for:
All volunteers will go through an interview process. Successful candidates must complete a police check (if 18+) and the Archdiocese of Toronto screening process.
We are also looking for parishioners willing to bless our four missionaries by providing a home-cooked lunch one day during the week that they are serving our parish. It’s a simple but powerful way to support their ministry!
If you feel called to serve as a day program volunteer, evening program volunteer, or to provide lunch for our missionaries, please contact Melissa at msiuchong@archtoronto.org or call the parish office. Let’s come together as a parish family and make this year’s Totus Tuus the best one yet!
