From the Pastor's Desk

Farewell to Father Prince Michael

This month we bid farewell to our Associate Pastor, Fr Prince Michael, who has served at St. Ignatius Loyola Parish for the past year. We are grateful for his priestly ministry among us, particularly through the celebration of the sacraments, his pastoral care and his presence in our parish community.

Fr Prince has been appointed to hospital ministry in the east end of the Archdiocese, where he will bring the comfort of Christ to those who are sick and in need of spiritual care. We thank him for his service and assure him of our prayers as he begins this new assignment.

At our next Coffee Sunday (June 20/21, 2026) parishioners will have an opportunity after each Mass to personally thank Fr Prince and wish him well.

At the same time, we are pleased to welcome Father Tobias Ndabhatinya, who has been appointed Associate Pastor of St. Ignatius Loyola Parish effective June 24. We look forward to welcoming Fr Tobias to our parish family and assuring him of our prayers and support as he begins his ministry among us.

Please keep both Fr Prince and Fr Tobias in your prayers during this time of transition.

Fr. Prince
