Please help us congratulate this year’s Serra Award winners: Paul, Aiden, Jediah, Jezrah, and Alexander!

 Time Change Reminder!

Daylight Saving Time ends Sunday, November 2. Be sure to set your clocks back one hour on Saturday night so you don’t miss Mass! Enjoy the extra hour of sleep!

Annual Priest Seminar

Every year in the Fall, each of the priests of our Archdiocese is expected to attend the Annual Priest Seminar. These are like "study days" for the priests on a particular topic, chosen by the Archbishop of Toronto. The seminar takes place over two weeks. Fr. Prince attended the week of October 20th, and Fr. Ed will attend the week of October 27th. In case you might be wondering where they are on those weeks… They haven't abandoned the place!

40 Days for Life: Wednesday, October 29, 2025

We encourage our parishioners to take part by committing to an hour to stand vigil in prayer near the Mississauga Women’s Centre at 101 Queensway. Our parish date is Wednesday, October 24 from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM. For more information or to register please visit: https://www.40daysforlife.com/en/mississauga

All Saints & All Souls’ Weekend

All Saints’ Day — Saturday, November 1 (9:00 a.m.)

We celebrate the whole Communion of Saints—famous and hidden—who show us what God’s grace can do in ordinary lives. All are welcome at our 9:00 a.m. Mass (with music) as we praise God for the saints’ witness and ask their intercession. This solemnity is a reminder that holiness is our common calling.

All Souls’ Day — Sunday, November 2

From the Saturday 5:00 p.m. Mass and all Sunday Masses on November 2, we will commemorate All Souls’ Day by remembering the Faithful Departed. This marks the beginning of our parish’s observance of the Church’s tradition of praying for our deceased loved ones throughout the month of November.

Angels

Month of Remembrance

You are invited to write the names of your deceased loved ones on the special envelopes available at the doors of the church. These names will be placed in a remembrance chest near the altar and will be prayerfully remembered at every Mass during November.

Together we entrust our beloved deceased brothers and sisters to the mercy of the Father and keep them in prayer all month.

Please note: While no offering is required, any contribution is appreciated. However, as these offerings are not eligible for tax receipts, no receipts will be issued.

“Let my prayer rise like incense before You” (Ps 141:2)

As we enter November—the Church’s month of remembrance—two angels now keep vigil on either side of the tabernacle in our sanctuary, bearing twin candles before the Eucharistic Lord. Like the prayer of the Church rising “before the throne” (Rev 8:3–4), these lights are a sign that love remembers and hope endures in the Presence of Jesus.

We invite parishioners to dedicate the pair of vigil candles together in memory of a loved one or for a special intention ($50 offering for the week, Sunday – Saturday). Similar to Mass offerings, dates will become available 4-months out.

It’s a simple, beautiful way to let your prayer burn in watchful love before the Lord. For more details or to arrange a dedication, please visit the parish office.

ARCHDIOCESE NEWS/EVENTS

Red Wednesday – November 19, 2025

On Wednesday, November 19, we join with the global Church in observing Red Wednesday, an initiative of Aid to the Church in Need (ACN). This international day of awareness and prayer draws attention to the persecution of Christians around the world and affirms that religious freedom is a fundamental human right.

In the Archdiocese of Toronto, Red Wednesday will be marked with a special Mass at 5:30 p.m. at St. Michael’s Cathedral Basilica, where Bishop Boissonneau will preside.

Around the world, churches, cathedrals, monuments, and public buildings will be illuminated in red—a powerful symbol of those who suffer or have given their lives for their Christian faith.

All are welcome to join us in prayer and solidarity.
