What were Indian Residential Schools? Why did they happen? How did they happen? What role did the Catholic Church play? How and why is this dark chapter in our history continuing to impact Indigenous people today? What should we do?

Deacon John, whose family on his father’s side is Sto:lo from the Fraser River valley in B.C., will address these questions, and your questions, in an informative and interactive session on Wednesday November 3 at 7 p.m. in the parish hall.
